Shamita Shetty, born in Mumbai, is an Indian actress who made her debut in 2000 with the movie "Mohabbatein" directed by Aditya Chopra. She won the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year - Female. In 2007, she delivered hit dance numbers like "Sharara Sharara" from "Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai" and "Mind Blowing Mahiya" from "Cash". Her first solo hit was "Zeher", for which she was nominated for the Stardust Award as Star of the Year Female. She was the third runner-up on Bigg Boss 15 and is the sister of actor Shilpa Shetty.
